[Something after this entire incident, Hyde continued his rampage through the city until he had nearly spent all of his energy. Bad move on his part, considering who was waiting for the opportunity to regain control.]
I'm not letting you have this body, you hear me? [He growls under his breath as he wanders out of the city, his stomach gurgling loudly to be fed. Maybe he should have grabbed something in one of the restaurants he destroyed. As if fate took pity on him, a home suddenly comes into view before him as he moves further away from the city. There may be food here for him to take. Just enough to keep him going until he finds something better. He drags himself through what appears to be a garden surrounding the home, and not so much watching where he steps. He was listening intently, looking around to see if anyone was home. He could probably take out whomever's here if he needed to, but he rather loot and scoot.]
[She might not be working with modern appliances, but Rosalia doesn't mind. Her small home could be a bit silly what with crossing with a cave inside, but it's her home. Hee, home...!]
[Slithering about, her snakes are all chipping in on helping her get food ready. And why not make some fresh pasta with fresh grown tomatoes? She should try enchiladas again sometime soon. All of it should be done shortly; she misses timers at least.]
[As he gets closer to the home, he frowns. He could hear movement, someone was here. Someone was...cooking. His stomach growls as his senses pick up that fragrant smell.]
Tch. [He press his bloodied hand on the wall, looking around. He just needs to make some kind of distraction, then he can get in and take what he needs. He proceeds to knock over one of the potted plants nearby, as he looks for a place to hide, trying his best not to leave a blood trail.]
[That sounded like her pots being knocked over. Was it that swan apparently running around? Maybe a cat came out this far? Exchanging look with her snakes, she slides on out to have a look, maybe salvage what she can if the pots were broken. Hmm, did she have spares? Maybe she should get one first in case...]
[She'll slither on out to have a look into spare pots first in her storage space.]
[...When there's a snake person, and they got snakes for hair, that usually means a bad time. Any smart person would turn the other way, but this is a desperate mad man. An opening has been presented to him and he's going to take it, he doesn't have much choice. He slides himself into her home while she was elsewhere, careful not to accidentally break something. Hard to do when he's used to flaunting his strength without any care. So Rosalina might find a few stray claw marks in her home.
His nose leads him to the kitchen area, and it won't take long for him to start raiding the place. So much for just grabbing a few things.]
[Checking out the room, there's a pot - she'll have to get more when she goes into town tomorrow. Carrying it, she slithers on back to deal with her fallen pot. Not that bad of a mess; she can at least get the plant and some dirt in, but it looks so small.]
You'll have a nice big home again tomorrow!
[She heads back inside to finish with food, thinking something seems... off. However, her snakes know something's been wrong.]
[They be right to suspect something is wrong. Her kitchen is going to look like a storm had blown through, with contents having gone missing or half eaten. The one responsible isn't anywhere to be seen, but there appears to be spots of blood going into one of the other rooms. Hyde's appetite got the better of him, and now he's looking for a way to escape.]
[She was only gone for a moment. What happened?? Looking around, there's claw marks and blood. She shivers - why is there blood? Looking around, all her snakes were looking around too, watching for any strange movement.]
[Shit, is he trapped in the room he's in now...? He doesn't see any other exit route. Unless he makes one. Maybe if he just-]
Grrk! [The sound of things crashing and tumbling can be heard from the other room. That door he noticed apparently led to a closet full of blankets that have come tumbling onto Hyde. He digs his claws into the fabric, tearing into it to try and get himself free from the blanket pile.]
[Her hair's hissing now because even Rosalia didn't miss that sound. Sliding over, she tilts her head as something seems to be trying to get out of her spare blankets - gosh, she would have to fix those.]
I'm in a hurry. [Whomever this is, she's not giving the impression they're a threat. Those snakes of hers though. He's going to go back to clawing and tearing through the blankets till he can actually stand back up, and then try to charge pass her.]
Anyone. [He's not going to get very far. He just makes it into another room before he stops to lean up against the wall for support.] Tch. Don't you dare come out now.
No doctors. [He could hear Kazuma chuckling in his head. That hand definitely needs attention. He may sound, mildly annoyed. This is his body that Hyde has badly injured.
When he notices the torn fabric being passed to him, he takes them to wrap them around his right hand. It's roughly done, but it's something.]
[That hand isn't going to be much use to you if you don't treat it right away.] Oh, you want to be helpful now? [This is my body. Even if you refuse to believe that, how are you going to manage with a partially working hand?]
Tch. [He is not about to admit Kazuma has a point.] Hey! You got anything? Any of these plants in your garden? [And he starts listing a few plants he could recall with medicinal properties to Rosalia.]
[Had he not been talking to her? Was he okay?] ... Oh! I have a few of those. Let me go see if any of them are ready. [She turns away, but a few snakes look back, watching him.]
[He just glares back at them, waiting for her to leave the area before trying to stand back up. He wasn't going to run, just relocate to the kitchen where he had access to water and other materials to work on his hand.
Once he takes a seat, he removes the cloth now soaked in blood and replaces it with a fresh one, trying to slow the bleeding down. Damn he could hardly feel anything from his right hand now.]
[She comes back in momentarily with several of the herbs he had been talking about. Again, some of them just hadn't been ready so she couldn't get them. Placing them on the table, she moves around to get a few more things - all the while, the snakes still watch him.]
[She has some left over linen cloth... but she blinks and looks up at the yell.]
Coming! [Crush up the herbs so she'll need that mortar... a few of her snakes can handle that. Coming back with the cloth, she picks up the useful herbs and let the snakes get to work. Her brows furrow.]
It's gonna take a while. I didn't have food prepared yet.
Uh, well... most of them were destroyed earlier... [The mortor work stops and the snakes hissing at each other, talking. In a moment, the crushing resumes.]
[He glances at the crushed herbs.] Yea, fine. Go make something. Fast. [He clumsily grabs some of the crushed herbs, soaking it with some water as it sits over the wound. Good enough, but it's already too late. His body felt heavy from exhaustion, his head slowly reaching the table to rest.] Dammit. I'll get this back, no matter what you do.
[His grumbling and threats cease as he passes out. A moment later, his body starts to go through a change. Unable to maintain such a monstrous and demanding form, it returns to a regular sized man without claws or pointed ears.]
[Soup doesn't take long - and keeping it to just some stock and herbs means it'll take less time. If she'd knew she would have company, she would've tried having more.]
[When she comes back with a bowl, she blinks. Was... this the same guy from before? He was passed out at her table.] Um... Mister...?
[He won't be out for long, maybe an hour or two at most. Sleeping in the position he's in, is not exactly the most comfortable for a long nap. So when he wakes up, he could feel the aches and pains as he lifts his head off the table. His injured hand still stung, but wasn't as bad as before. The wound seems to have at least sealed itself.
It takes his mind a bit longer to register where he was and how he was here. He has a blanket now wrapped around him too. Right, this was the home Hyde had decided to crash, a young girl with snakes for hair.]
[While he's been out, Rosalia managed to get some cleaning done. No more blood, no more torn blankets, and no more ruined snacks she'd been saving. She'd have to get back to her garden tomorrow.]
[Sliding her way back into the kitchen, she blinked.]
[He had started to neatly fold the blanket when Rosalia returns to check on him.]
Ah, yes. [He sets the blanket on the table, rolling up his sleeves as his clothes were a bit too big now.] Sorry, for the trouble the other caused you.
